You Can Now Purchase Your Favourite Xbox Games Using Your Mobile Phone Number

Microsoft has introduced Mobile Operator Billing on Xbox to make buying games easier and safer than ever. Operator Billing, is one of the most popular payment methods around the world because it doesn’t require a credit card. Today, many Xbox gamers use their phone number to pay for games, movies, TV shows and much more, and have the charges added directly to their phone bill. Best of all, once this payment method is added to a Microsoft Account, all future purchases can be charged automatically.

Xbox gamers on the following mobile operators can use Operator Billing today in the Xbox Store on Xbox One, as well as in the Xbox App on Windows 10 devices and iOS and Android smartphones, depending on location. It even includes purchasing Xbox Play Anywhere titles from the Windows Store, such as “ReCore,” “Forza Horizon 3,” and “Gears of War 4,” all available now.

Already a customer of one of the above mentioned mobile operators and want to set up Operator Billing? Just find a game you’d like to purchase, select “Buy,” choose “Add a new payment method’ on the payment screen, and select “Mobile phone.” Next, pick your mobile operator and enter your phone number to receive a verification code. When you receive the code, simply enter it on your Xbox and you’re done!
