Meet the world’s youngest billionaire, Alexandra Andresen, a Norwegian teenager and her sister who are both estimated to be worth about $1.2 billion . She spends most of her time riding horses. Alexandra, who is 19, and her sister Katharina, 20, a college student, both inherited big stakes in their family’s investment company. They are among 30 billionaires under 40 who are fortunate enough to be extremely rich at a very young age.
Alexandra is the daughter of Johan Andresen, a Norwegian investor from Oslo who runs “a family-owned Norwegian investment-company committed to value-creating ownership of businesses and investments in financial assets. In addition to the group’s purely commercial activities, Ferd has an extensive involvement in social entrepreneurship.”
Johan transferred the stock to his daughters in 2007 but still maintains control of the company.In the company’s corporate interview, Alexandra said
“I actually save all the time, I have always done,”
“I save when I get my weekly allowance, and I save the cash prizes I win in competitions or if I get money as a gift for my birthday. It means I can buy myself things I really want, like a bag or a pair of shoes, without having to ask mum or dad for money.”
Despite being the richest Teen in the block, Alexandra lives a low-key lifestyle as a dressage competitor and promotes veganism on her Instagram page.
